PARTIAL DENTURES

IMMEDIATE ACRYLIC DENTURES

If a front tooth needs be removed due to infection or trauma, a replacement is usually placed that same day.  With an acrylic partial denture, this is wonderful for many people who cannot leave with an embarrassing smile.  As the mouth heals, the prosthetic can be easily modified to better fit the gums and other teeth. All of our dentures are custom made by expert USA dental technicians so that your teeth feel good and look great. We do not use cheap foreign labs or

low-quality denture materials and Dr. Nguyen takes much pride in helping his patients look their best and feel their best.  The acrylic partial denture is preferred by many patients because it can be both a good temporary option or a good long-term option depending on a person's needs

CONVENTIONAL ACRYLIC DENTURES

Dr. Nguyen also fabricates conventional acrylic partial dentures.  These dentures use a strong acrylic frame that fits around the natural teeth and gums and uses wires to connect to one or two natural teeth to give it support and retention.  By judicious use of the frame and wires, Dr. Nguyen achieves a strong, tight fit that makes both wearing the partial and chewing with the partial more comfortable.

CAST METAL PARTIALS

Cast metal partial dentures offer a few main advantages over all acrylic partial dentures. First, because the metal is much stronger than the acrylic, they can be made much thinner than their counterparts. This is ideal for people who find their acrylic partial too thick. Also, the strength of the metal means that it is less prone to breaking. The second advantage is that these types of partials can often be built to grip more strongly onto teeth which makes them feel tighter and more comfortable in the mouth.

FLEXIBLE PARTIALS

The flexible partial is more comfortable, aesthetic and easier to insert than metal-based partials.  The translucent material blends naturally with the tissue tone and replaces clasps.  It is thin, lightweight and resilient with precision fit and retention.  It is also biocompatible, non-allergenic, monomer and formaldehyde free.  Disadvantages of the flexible partial is that they are difficult to adjust, may stain or develop odors over time, and teeth cannot be added after the initial denture is fabricated.
